Obverse	Büste des Manuel I. mit Krone, Gewand (divitision) und Stola (loros) in der Vorderansicht. In seiner r. Hand ein Feldzeichen (labarum) und in seiner l. ein Globus (sphaira) mit Kreuz.
Reverse	Monogramm des Kaisernamens. Das Monogramm besteht aus MΛ Δ K Π. Die Abkürzung steht für MANOYHΛ ΔEΣΠOTHΣ KOMNHNOΣ O ΠOPΦYPOΓENNHTOΣ.
